It was a pleasant stay. Location is exceptional.

It is very near to the Taipei Main Station and just next to 7/11 store. As you cross To Taipei main station, one. An see the North Gate already. The front desk can speak English and is very accomodating. He was still at the front desk at 3am on new year’s day. He was able to check us in at 1:30pm. Prompt service of hotel car arrived on time to take us back to the airport. And it is also very affordable. The cleaner takes out the trash but would be better to do it everyday.

There is no mat in the shower, not quite safe to climb up and down the tub without it. There is no hanger to hang your towel inside the bathroom. Only hand towel is provided. No free water.

Good for budget traveller and those who want to be near main station and Ximending area

fantastic location, 5mins away from Taipei Main Station. Room was very basic but met my expectation. All in all good if you travel on a budget, comfortable enough.

Old and dated, but good location

Location was great as it was beside the Taipei Main station and the Airport line. Easy access around.

The hotel was very dated, it was shared with 3 different hotel chains using one location. They were an eco friendly hotel which did not supply ANY amenities. This included NOT HAVING BATH TOWELS, you would have to pay TWD 200 for a disposable towel that came wrapped in plastic. The rooms were old, but functional, TV had porn playing, so not family friendly. There was no security, only a front desk where you could leave your bags, which were unsecured, nor was a luggage tag issued. A receipt had to be requested.

I enjoyed staying at the New May Flower; it’s basic but I would recommend it to anyone who wants a central location to b

The location was fantastic: next to Main Station and a 15 minute walk to Ximen. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable.

The decor was quite tired, and the sound insulation wasn’t great so you could hear the traffic outside 11 floors down. The towels were made of a light paper material, not sufficient for drying after a shower.

Please evolve your decor

The location is great and they let my friends come in and hand in the room for a few hours. The tub was fine.

The key is massive and difficult to carry around, they need to modernize their room door security system so it can use a fob or card key, no A/C, just an old fan. The door is elevated at the bottom, so you can see the lights underneath and hear all the sounds from other rooms and the decor is outdated for it being 2021 now and not 1970.lol Please update.

Location.

That bed is like sleeping on the hard floor. The room key was too big, I had to leave it several times because I didn't want to carry it around and lose it. Make the key small and more modern like other hotels with a fob or card entry key. I could here the conversations from all the rooms around me because the walls were too thin. Decor from the 80s was so outdated and the gap under the entry door shows the hallway lights at night. No a/c unit in room only 1 fan. TV hard to work.
